The Journey
Rest, Release, Respond
Mission: The Journey reaches out, with unconditional love, to young adults aged 14-26, assisting their transition from unstable, sometimes traumatic, childhoods to self-sustaining adulthoods. Teaching them with a combination of individualized support, immersive experiences, and hands-on classes; and guides them in forming healthy relationships, accessing resources, and discovering new possibilities for their futures.

What are Roots?
-
A means of anchorage into solid ground.
-
The essential core of a living being.
-
An underlying support network that allows one to flourish.
Roots is The Journey's first program, launched in September of 2019.
This program focuses on providing support, life skills, and peer-to-peer mentoring for youth 10-13 and young adults aged 14-26 through presentations, hands-on learning opportunities, and reflecting on life issues such as anger, depression, motivation, collaboration, professional development, relationships, time management, school, work, and play.
Young adults will also have the chance to volunteer and participate in community activities as they become available.

We would love to see your young adults come for dinner, fellowship, and fun!
